Quality assurance

Ensuring best quality

ABM's quality assurance process is integral to ensuring the reliability and performance of our batteries. From raw material procurement to final product inspection, every step is meticulously monitored to uphold stringent quality standards. The process begins with thorough material testing and inspection to ensure the highest quality components are used in production.

During manufacturing, each battery undergoes comprehensive testing to verify performance, durability, and adherence to specifications. This includes electrical testing, capacity verification, and stress testing to simulate real-world conditions.

Robust quality control measures have been developed to identify and rectify any deviations from standards promptly. Regular audits and reviews ensure continual improvement and compliance with industry regulations.

During the manufacturing process, batteries undergo several stages of inspection to confirm quality and reliability. This comprehensive process ensures that we deliver batteries of exceptional quality, reliability, and performance to our customers.

01

01
Reverse testing

Reverse testing at ABM rigorously checks batteries for imperfections. If issues arise, the system automatically removes faulty batteries, ensuring only high-quality products proceed in manufacturing.

02

02
Short circuit testing

Short circuit testing at ABM identifies potential issues by subjecting batteries to rigorous assessment. Faulty batteries triggering the system are automatically ejected, ensuring only high-quality products advance in production.

03

03
Total Quality Management (TQM)

ABM employs a Total Quality Management approach, ensuring comprehensive quality control measures throughout battery production. This systematic approach emphasises continuous improvement, adherence to standards, and customer satisfaction for optimal product quality.

04

04
Shear testing

A key stage in our QA process: weld quality undergoes meticulous testing. If the test meets standards, a tag is affixed, signifying the weld's approval for continued production.

05

05
Heat sealing

The next stage in the process involves heating the lid and container, securely bonding them together. This ensures a tight seal, safeguarding the battery's internal components and enhancing overall durability and reliability.

06

06
Leak testing

We next conduct thorough leak testing to assess the battery's integrity. This ensures any potential leakages are identified and addressed, upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability.

07

07
Serialising

Lastly, each battery is assigned a unique serial number, facilitating traceability throughout its lifecycle. This enables efficient tracking and identification, ensuring accountability and quality assurance.

Customer satisfaction

At ABM we prioritise customer satisfaction as a core objective, committing to deliver high quality products at competitive prices with friendly and efficient service. We are also committed to expanding environmentally friendly practices through every area of our operation.
